Safety tip: Never put babies to sleep on their stomachs. All babies should be put down to sleep on their backs, to minimize the potential for Sudden Infant Death Syndrome (SIDS). Never put pillows, quilts, fluffy objects or stuffed toys in the crib when baby is sleeping, napping or playing in it. Do not allow strings, long fringes or cords near baby at any time.
