We love that the sun is finally starting to warm us up here in Ohio. With Spring and the warming sun can come serious sunburns for our kids, especially babies. I always struggle to find a good sunscreen for my kids. I was thrilled to be able to review MD MOMS Baby Silk Babysafe Sunscreen Towelettes. I really like Baby Silk towelettes because they don’t contain any phthalates, lanolin, mineral oil, petroleum or waxes. They are gentle enough even for babies to use as they contain only physical sunscreens, titanium and zinc oxide, there are no chemical sunscreen ingredients included.
The towelettes contain a gentle SPF 30+ sunscreen that is sweat-proof and water resistant. It protects against broad spectrum UVA and UVB rays. The sunscreen not only protects against the harmful rays but nourishes and moisturizes your child’s skin with Vitamins E and B5, marine silk, aloe and oat.

I was pleasantly surprised at the size of the towelettes. They are larger than I expected. MD Moms state that each towelette is enough to cover a typical 2 year old from head to toe. I used just one towelette to protect my 3 year old and 5 year old’s arms, legs, and face. Plus, I used it on my face and arms. At first, I thought the towelette was dry and didn’t have any solution on it. Once I started to wipe the towelette onto the skin, it became silky and smooth on the skin. There was still sunscreen left on the wipe when we were done using it! The sunscreen was pale white in color until it quickly dried on the skin. I loved the feeling of it on my skin, I’ve never said that about ANY sunscreen product.
The Baby Silk Sunscreen Towelettes were so convenient and clean to use. There was no messy bottle to leak in my purse or extra sunscreen all over my hands. For the first time ever, my kids didn’t mind me putting the sunscreen on them at all. Usually I have to chase them down to put the lotions on them. My son especially hates getting traditional, messy sunscreen applied to his skin! This product is an easy-to-use product!
I think kids and babies are use to having wipes on used on their skin and faces so applying the sunscreen via a towelette is nothing special for them. I used the sunscreen on myself and 2 kids. My friend only used it on her 2 kids and not herself. Guess who had the sunburn the next day! Only my friend!
