One thing I love about working in this industry is meeting the brains behind the brands. I am constantly amazed at how genuine and dedicated most of the people working in the juvenile products industry are. Last year in Las Vegas, while attending ABC Kids Expo, I had the pleasure of meeting the Ladies behind MD Moms skin care line.

I capitalized that L for a reason. They are two of the friendliest, most smartest (Drop Dead Gorgeous, anyone?), and sassiest women I’ve met. Diane Truong, MD, FAAP, and JJ Levenstein, MD, FAAP, are both California-based pediatricians. More importantly, they are others….Sassy Mothers. Greeted with a strong hug and a kiss, I knew that these were my kind of people. We sat down and discussed their company, their philosophies and life over a few Canadian Oreos. I left this meeting with a greater appreciation of their brand, and a new friendship with these Ladies.
I received notice a couple weeks ago that a few of their terrific products were recently the recipients of the National Eczema Association’s Seal of Acceptance—a terrific honor for such a great company. Even better, for those who have extra-sensitive skin, they’ve released two products in a fragrance-free form!!

Baby Silk Daily Skin Protection is a great moisturizing balm that is free of parabens, preservatives, phthalates and other nasty ingredients, so that your nugget’s skin feels silky smooth. Whenever I’m feeling dry, I actually use this product and it’s lovely.
