MD Moms Review

By trade I am a mom, but my career is in nursing. I am very particular as to what products are used on my children, so of course I jumped at the opportunity to test products created by Pediatrician-Moms!

MD Mom is a company that specializes in gentle products for infants and children. All of the products were developed by the MD Moms, Diane Truong and JJ Levenstein. As both moms and pediatricians, Diane and JJ have spent nearly a quarter of a century caring for children and are eager to share their knowledge and ideas with other moms. MD Mom developed the baby silk line using the most gentle products that allow parents to worry less about skin care and more about spending precious time with their little ones. They have created a complete line of products including those for cleansing, soothing, protection, and even on the go! We were given the opportunity to try out the gentle all-over wipes: baby silk gentle all-over clean cleansing towelettes travel pack.

These soft, luxurious cleansing and soothing towelettes are effective enough to use nose to toes, yet gentle enough to use even on irritated or sensitive skin. This alcohol-free hypoallergenic formula contains our exclusive marine silk complex to maintain the skin’s moisture barrier. What did we think? I loved the wipes. The package states that these wipes are good for “both sets of cheeks”, so I of course tried them out. They cleaned up diaper messes easily without having to use 3,4 or 5 wipes per change. They work great for after lunch messes as well. They were super soft and gentle on the skin. I tried them out on my own skin, and found that they dried quickly without any sticky feeling. They were gentle and really left you feeling clean. My suggestion would be to consider a fragrance free option. I did feel like the smell was a little strong for a face wipe, but it was not an offensive smell. The package is perfectly portable and fits in my small purse.
