Keeping baby safe from the sun

We've all heard the warnings about the dangers of the sun. It's especially important that we heed those cautions when it comes to our children. Although physicians recommend that babies be kept out of the sun completely, sometimes that is not possible. Sunscreen is essential, but applying it to a squirming infant or toddler can be a challenge.

One product that has worked for us is Baby Silk Babysafe Sunscreen Towelettes from MD Moms, Huntington Beach, Calif. Saturated with a water-resistant and sweat-proof sunscreen, these towelettes are safe to use on babies of all ages. Each soft wipe is enriched with Vitamins E and B5, marine silk, aloe, and oat, and contains enough SPF 30 to cover baby from head to toe.
